The first method of removing skin tags is using a tag removal device, it is pen like device that has a round opening and tight band around it, you put it on top of the skin tag and then you pull the band over the skin tag, the band will stop blood supply from reaching the skin tag and it will die and fall off after 7 to 10 days, this process is called ligation.
You can find a lot of types of tag removal devices, and the price range varies depending on the quality of the device, but some people do not want to spend those extra dollars for the skin tag removal device, instead they go for the string method.
